Multipurpose building

Rupit i Pruit, Catalunya. 2012

Located in the pool zone of the village of Rupit this multipurpose building is mixed with the local architecture style, dialoguing with the rural houses surrounding.

The diaphanous building opens its two side walls to the nature of the stream and recreational swimming pools. Four pine wood trusses, the gabled roof without the support of pillars allows the maximum amplitude of the space for activities that develop people inside.

Both pine structure and closures as local stone facades make that this new building mixes with the rustic houses and cobblestone streets of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries.
