Main Square

Sant Llorenç Savall. 2017

The proposal for the new main square of Sant Llorenç Savall is woven thanks to the different blocks of streets that converge in it, blurring to form a unique space for the people.

In order to constitute the square as a continuous space without barriers, a vegetable slope is projected to unify the floor levels. The different textures and colours of pavements that delimit spaces make the project achieved the objective of eliminate architectural and visual barriers.

Pavements and vegetation will determine the uses of the spaces, from the large square for events such as the corners to be and terraces of bars.

As a distinctive element appears, over the slope, a metal platform that makes both a lookout as a stage for the events of the town.
